How verdicts work

A verdict is our own judgment of a product or pair. We only publish one after using the products. Until then, the page says "Not tested yet".

What we compare

• Makeup: shade, undertone, finish, texture and wear time.
• Fragrance: the overall impression, how it changes over time, longevity and projection.
• Body care: scent, texture and how quickly it sinks in.

Votes

Each browser gets one vote per question and can change it. Votes show what shoppers think and are kept separate from our verdict.

Reviews

Every review is read before it appears. We remove spam, undisclosed promotion, personal attacks and medical claims. We don't remove a review because it's negative.

Prices

Prices come from retailer and affiliate data, with the date last checked shown beside them. We don't scrape retailers. Always confirm the price at checkout.

Health and safety

We describe how products look, feel and wear. We don't give medical advice or safety scores. If a product irritates your skin, stop using it and speak to a clinician or pharmacist.
